Mad Science Party Ideas
I’ve been crushing on the idea of a Mad Science Party ever since an incredible “science lab” display at a trunk or treat several years ago. If you’re not familiar, a “Trunk or Treat” is done by church groups or neighborhoods where kids trick or treat car to car in a designated parking lot full of invited participants to provide a safe Halloween experience. Well, that’s how it started anyway, which I think is a fabulous idea for areas that require extra precaution. Now, it’s a second night of candy collection in my neighborhood since the kids go door to door anyway. A trunk filled with bubbling beakers and steam and a crazy lady with a white lab coat and striped wig? I was smitten! My kids, too young at the time to appreciate it, are now budding scientists excited to examine and question the earth around them. Looking forward to a Mad Scientist Party of my own, I put together a list of my favorite Mad Science Party Ideas and sources.Mad Science Party for a birthday, halloween party or trunk or treat!
